“Her performance exemplifies how music can be the most intimate experience on the planet. BAIBA’s vocals are rich and intoxicating, where you hang onto every word she sings and wish she was next to you. The electronic arrangements are familiar, aided by the stirring production that together creates a haunting soundscape. Dazzlingly breathtaking introduction to a hidden gem.”

Sorry, not sorry. Starting as a solo electro-pop artist, the Latvian musician based in Innsbruck, Austria has evolved into a sharp-edged, emotionally rich duo. Now joined on stage by a live drummer, BAIBA fuses ambient synths and deep basslines with the raw pulse of real drums and garage-inspired vibes. The result: an intense, cheeky, and rebellious liveexperience that sits somewhere between an alt-pop confession booth and a sweaty, late-night basement gig.

After releasing two albums (These Storms, 2017 and Lighter, 2021) and the biting 2023 EP Compulsive—a satirical dive into obsession, paranoia, and self-awareness—BAIBA is currently working on her third studio album, Delusional. The upcoming record explores the many moods of a thirty-something woman navigating life’s absurdities. From mellow, nostalgic ballads tinged with Nordic sadness to ironic dance tracks and empowering pop anthems, Delusional captures the curiosity, chaos, and quiet triumphs of a “lost girlie” in her thirties - just delusional enough to dream, and just aware enough to laugh at it all.

Whether she’s serenading your existential dread or leading a cathartic dancefloor moment, BAIBA always offers one thing: an unfiltered, deeply individual view of reality that embraces both vulnerability and playfulness. The stage is her playground, and every performance is a new version of the truth.

In recent years, BAIBA has performed regularly on stages all over Austria and Europe. Her most favorite gigs include Poolbar Festival, Waves Festival, Summer Sound Festival (LV), LABA DABA Festival (LV), Pink Whale (Bratislava), Pergine Festival (IT), ALLES GUTE Festival, Kultursommer Wien, Treibhaus, Innsbruck and many more.
